I am about to change discs and pads which I have done on other cars. However the means of retaining the pads on this vehicle is new to me. There are some springy steel clips in the caliper which look as though they might pull out to release the pads; is this the case? I gave them a bit of a pull and a poke but they did not move easily - should I keep pulling?

Any advice welcome.

I thought the process was as easy as most and certainly much easier than some I have worked on.
