Hi Guys, i own a Doblo cargo 1.9 JTD with bad handling problems. when I am driving along in a straight line just a small touch of the wheel can make the van "jump" off line. This happens in the wet or dry, it can also happen under acceleration when the wheels are pointing straight ahead.

Another problem happens when cornering, the van wants to drift and the body seems to roll too much.

any ideas

how long have you owned the car, how old is it?

I assume you have had a check or had the suspension checked aswell as wheels/tyres?

If the tyres are worn then even in the dry the turbo kicking in, on a hill for example when accelerating, can cause the front heels to squirm. This is normal with any front driver losing traction under power. As for the rest, I don't know? They do roll a bit anyway, but not in my experience in any way unsafely and mine has never drifted; in fact I think the Doblo is very stable and mine has only ever let go on ice. The grip is fantastic really.

As T says, I'd get the suspension etc. looked at.

Could be a loose steering rack, if you can see the steering rack poking out from the front arches as you go round a corner, that'd be it.
