is this engine used in any other vehicle dunno yet if i need one but theres a chance i might need a fuel pump and am looking along the salvage route i.e. buying a whole vehicle.
i know a reconditioned is available but if i can buy a write off van for £200 and fit the pump myself i dont really mind if it only lasts 12 months.

also please forgive the ignorance here do these pumps need "marrying" into the cars electrics might spund daft buton modern vauxhalls (my forte) this would be the case
