hi as anyone one else had a timing chain gone at 60 thow on there doblo ?
driving and it just stopped , , took it in to fiat and they say the chain as gone ,, only reason i got 1.3 is because it was chain ? lovethe van , but now gutted ,, anyway my thing is , i like working on my own cars , i do cambelt changes on most cars .. when i got me van back i took a look , i cannot see were they took the side casing of to see the chain gone ? , i dont want to try any start it , incase i do more damage , ? any one got any more info in this engine ? pics manuals ??

I believe it is the same engine as used in 1.3 cdti vauxhalls.....

hope this is of some help, and damage isn't too bad (expensive)

got the cam cover off , to find 4 cam followers snapped, hopfully the valves are ok , still looks straight ? so i think im going to change the chain and followers , and see how it goes ? cheers mark

got another prob now ,, cannot shift the bottom crank nut ,, can any 1 tell me if this is left hand thread ? its one tight bolt ?

if its left handed it will have a 'L' stamped on it.
