I've been trying to work out which band Doblos will be in under the new system. It's even more complicated now.
As far as I can tell, the 120bhp Doblo is 160g co2. Is this right as I thought it was more than that?
I found a couple of links to help calculate which band your car will be in...

If the 120 family is 160g, it will fall into band G, which starts at £150 rising to £155...I think???

Hi Rich - I've the same engine but only 5 seats but I don't think that changes things. My logbook says 160g/km, so I think you are right.
Looking on the vca car data site, the 105 engine comes in at 153g/km. The newest 1.3 diesels 137g/km.

I reckon that next year, the:
1.3 will cost £110 (after a certain chasis number)
1.9 105hp £150
1.9 120hp also £150.

Looks like a close escape for us 1.9s 120hps' : 1g/km more and it would have been an extra £25.

that website must be right then,
I was thinking that about the extra 1g, looks like we've had a lucky escape with only a £15 rise .

Just looked at my reg certificate and it says 153 g/km


So do I pay £150?

All a mysery to me

My 2002 1.9JTD is listed on the V5 as 168g/km, so you're lucky!

Thus mine is Band E presently, £170, and will be reclassified to H and cost £175 then £180 over the next 2 years.

If yours is 153g/km, it will be currently Band D at £145, reclassified to Band G (151-165 g/km) costing £150 then £155 over the next two years.

I shouldn't worry too much about figures quoted for the next two years, it'll all be changing long before then - it always does.

An 04 plate 1.2v sx model is 183 emmisions. So at the moment i am paying £165 a year. I think that will be going up to £170. Its only brand new cars registered from March 08 that fall under these new bands.But for somebody like myself who is only driving a 1200 engine and doing only 3000 miles a year its rediculous.
I might go back to the motorbike where its on £33 a year for my 400 cc
