Nipped out for a takeaway tonight, took the wife's Astra (she'd been out & it was nice & warm).

After driving dobbin for a few months, you forget that you need a soddin shoehorn to get into the average saloon.
You forget that you bang your head on the roof.
You forget that the gear knob is down by your ankles.
You forget you need a winch to get you out because your backside is 2" off the ground.

WTF. And to think how many thousands of miles I drove that dinky toy before I discovered the cavernous dobbin.

Any wonder we use the dobbin for ALL our holidays?
Road tax might be a shade dearer (£140) but having the room to stretch out is worth the extra few quid.

I don't have that problem, as I drive a spacious Suzuki Grand Vitara. The odd thing about getting into Mrs O's dobbin, though, is that I sit lower. You don't relise how tall the dobbin is, until you stand it next to a small 4x4!

you should try going from a sprinter to a stilo, not good for your head :D

glad i dont have to get in the back of my car as i dont half get some complaints (y)

whats the maximum carrying weight of the doblo (non van version, just the 5 seater)
