Has anyone out there replaced an alternator on a jtd elx? It would appear it is a very tight fit. If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful if they could help me. The problems seem never ending.
Still like the car though.

That's the trouble when they reduce space under the bonnet to gain space in the cab.
I think they build the engine & shoehorn it in.
No doubt somebody will be along in a minute to tell you that you put dobbin on the ramps, trolley jack under the block and hoist above, undo all the mounts & lower it out to give access.
