Seeking advice, had a tyre blow out today, got to the nearest garage to get two new front ones
met by a load guys scratching their head at my car, having never seen this one before.
Got the tyres sorted, they lifted it up to do the wheel aliment, to be told the exhaust is only being held up by some dodgy wire, and the box at the other end was hanging off, it needs either a new exhaust which has a crack in it, the silencer has been removed, and the box and clips that normally hold it in place is totally missing.
They called around then stated nothing they can do to help, as everyone they spoke to on the phone had not heard of this car either. They cabled tied it all up as best as they can't, but it won't hold forever.

Where does one get new parts from, or does anyone know any one breaking a croma prestique? I found one on ebay, but no exhaust left

The cars runnable at the mo, but will be a MOT failure when it needs one next feb/march.

Google something like “bespoke exhaust “ or something like that see if you can find something near you it may not be as expensive as a off the shelf one even if you could find one.

I had similar experience with a Nissan Murano. Exhaust had loads of welds, but was really beyond repair.

New exhaust would take weeks to arrive and because it would need catalytic converter was going to be over £600 plus fitting and can’t remember if that was before or after VAT.

I phoned around and found a local guy who could cut the catalytic converter out of the old exhaust and built a new stainless exhaust using it. Cost £400.

I have a 2.4 and its my 3rd Croma, so I have learn a lot about problems and parts over the years.

Sorry not been on here for a while. Check Eu:ROFLMAO:ow website, rear box is same as Croma 1.9 JTD 16v and Vectra 1.9 CDTi. I have also replaced centre section (I think that was from Eu:ROFLMAO:ow as well and flex joint (the flexi joint was custom made). The main problem is that even though the parts fit they are not listed for the 2.4 as there is so few of them here in the UK
