What a superb looking motor. These cars are quite unique. My son picked up one cheap at an auction recently. high mileage but fantastic to drive and a real head turner. Do you know if there is a workshop manual available? I've checked the Haynes website but they don't do one.

woow, that is a very nice looking coop you have, your extremely lucky. Definitely my dream car, i think the centre console really sets off the interior now, ive always thought that pininfarina could of done a little bit better on sprucing the interior up abit more. ill be looking foward to some more updates.

@kevin, try this: http://www.polak.ch/coupemanual/index.html

Thanks for the compliments guys
I love her to bits, the girlfriend quite often makes remarks about how the Coupe gets more attention than her!
Oh, Leather interior pics will be added soon for those interested (I think it sets the cerntre console off even more!)

I have put the 20vt wheels on but i am changing them hopefully this weekend for the Stilo blades that i managed to get hold of, just awaiting a mate to bring them from down south.

they need a bit of reco first but i'm thinking the blades in anthracite on a yellow coupe with tints it's going to look really smart
Also have some 30mm lowering springs coming across too but thats another few weeks away yet

Lovely looking coupé  The 16v/16vt is extremely rare in the Uk nowadays :( Loving the piano black centre console. I'd do mine but it's too much like hard work getting that rubbery crud off the plastic :D

ok so i have done some bits and bobs to the Coupe in the last few days.

I changed the 16vt wheels to the 20vt wheels about 2 months ago:

i decided that as nice as these were that i felt like too much of a wannabe 20vt, but unsure whether the Stilo wheels would work.
I found soem Stilo Abarth wheels on Trademe for a handsome sum of $370 so bought them and get them reconditioned.
I've sprayed both sets of wheels a dark anthracite colour

After looking at them for a day or so (and also boredom on a day off) i decided to get the wheels back off and got rid of the rusty hobs by spraying them black and also painting the calipers.
I went with red in the end as it was what was lying around, and i actually think they look pretty good

I think i put the pics of the Leather on before, and also the plate but here it all is in one post.

Oh, and i clocked 55,555 miles at the weekend too (Thats 7,000 miles in 9 months)

there is only one thing left now that i want to do as a finishing touch and that is the H&R springs which i ordered of keith about 2 weeks ago, should hopefully be landing here towards the end of next month....

Yeah the 20vt wheels were nice, but i did feel too much like a guy who had bought a 16vt and wanted to be a 20vt.
The Blades were nothing like that and also they have an angular kind of look which i think works well on the Coupe.
Once lowered i think it'll really stand out well

Are you going to get the sills painted broom to match, or leaving it as it is?

I've just bought some plus alloys with decent tyres :slayer: but does that make me the guy that bought a 20VT but wanted a plus?!!

haha nah it doesnt make you a 20vt wanna be plus, i just felt like that as it was a 16vt not a 20vt, plus the fact everyone asked "is it a 20vt" then looked at the wheels and kinda gave me that look when i told them it wasa 16vt. know what i mean?!

Anyway, sills are staying as they are, i like the fact it has that break, i'veseen them keyed up and i think in Yellow it is a little brash really.
Its retro with the black sills

ok well i have now picked up another coupe, this time a 16v in Red.
This is what my girlfriend is going to use as a drive car.

Very tidy car, my service manager has owned it for the last few years, only travelled 48,000 miles from new.
All totally standard....

I cant believe I'm saying this, but the Stilo blades do look good on the Coop. I know its all like food, I personally like them silver. Non the less they suite the Coop very well. Well I think so:)
