Well, I've just bought myself a new Alba 16" tele for myself with a HDMI port. I have also purchased a HDMI switcher/selector thingy, as I have more than one device that uses HDMI.

Now... I'm stuck when it comes to HDMI leads/cables or whatever you want to refer to them as. Do I need a specific type? i.e. Gold pated "version 1.3" or... is there a specific type of HDMI lead I need?

I have a PS3 and a computer with an ATI 2650 graphics card both of which will be plugged in via HDMI.

If anyone can help me I'd be grateful

Aha, they look like they'll do the job. I did come across these: (ebay stock no: 260424077066) but wasn't sure if they were the right ones. But I'll order some of those ones you recommended from Amazon.

Any Hdmi will suffice. You pay for the exterior build quality most of the time.
Like Stu says, Don't even bother with those monster Super duper high def cables including more high def!!

We got a free one for the tv and ps3 which sony sell for £110

Its a digital signal so there is no point paying for super dooper gold plated stuff

Exactly. The signal iseither there or it isn't

Just ordered 3 of them... from MHP Computer Services Ltd... I would have ordered from the other sellers as it's cheaper, but I order based on feedback.

its alright however if your monster one dvi-hdmi was only 4 quid but i wouldnt pay the normal prices at all and have tbh it makes no diff...
