well thort i'd go fit my strut brace 2day (god it was cold) anyeway took all the nuts off etc and went to put it on but the ECU bracket gets in the way do i sit the brace ontop of the ecu bracket or below it?

it has to go on top for it to be working have you got the OMP strut brace im guessing you will have to cut away bits of the ecu bracket and the expansion tank bracket will post some pics if you need so?

Strut brace must be mounted straight onto the strut top, nothing in between it such as brackets etc. This is to do with the leverage forces applied when cornering hard - in a worst case scenario you could shear off the 13mm bolts from the strut top whilst driving.

I've got a Sparco brace on my cinq, that was a pig to fit as they seemed to have forgotten about the battery being there when they designed it[!]

OMP brace I have fitted to a friend's car, you need to hack bits out of the ECU and expansion bottle brackets - effectively you have to make the water bottle one into two strips, and the ecu one has to be well chopped down.

well i have no idea wot make this is but its a good fit except 4 the ecu bracket it hits nothing elsill have 2 have another go at it but my hands went numb yesterday so i gave up

no i noticed it does look like it cud be joining the stock pile of cinq bits and bobs awaiting 2 b fitted lol god im so lazy all i need it an empty week and i could finally get my cinq sorted, owell back 2 southampton this saturday looks like it cud b waiting again, i've had my spoiler 4 a year and a half now [}]
