Technical Engine management light - help asap

twice in the last week my engine management light has turned on (the one that says code with the picture of the key)

its stayed on for the whole journey but when i stopped and turned engine back on again it went away

its also been a real b*stard to start - like 10 seconds turning over before it got going

any ideas? ive not really got a clue what might be causing it?

Thats the Immobiliser ECU warning light, slight difference!

My 1242 did that a few times and never really had any problems...

its also been a real b*stard to start - like 10 seconds turning over before it got going

Dunno but I doubt its immobiliser related...if that throws a wobbly it just wont start, dirty TDC sensor perhaps?

so which is the engine management light?

and the code one is different?

oh and this darn petrol pump light keeps coming on aswell :doh:

The ECU warning light si the thing that looks like its spraying stuff. Its Red and the CODE Light should be yellow.

Thats the efi light, its a red lamp with a picture of an injector on it.
The yellow one is the code light
