Now, guys, I've changed my steering rack in a hurry and I made a little mess...

The problem is: When I detach the steering rack, I didn't take note of the position of the wheels and the position of the steering wheel/steering column.

After that, I've immediately realized that inside the steering column there is that spring/coil/wire thingy that has only a precise amount of turning right or left.

But then, I forgot to take it easy when testing the steering wheel position and I've destroyed everything.

Now I have to open it up and solve the problem... I didn't reconnect the battery (I was afraid airbag can blow up in my face....)

Any suggestion on how to proceed and how to set the steering wheel in the exact same position where it was before?

What I've discovered for now:
1) after battery has been disconnected for AT LEAST 30 minutes; open the doors and wear goggles and earplugs

2) remove two black plastic caps on the two sides of the steering wheel
3) you can now remove four allen bolts
4) pull the airbag: not too hard, the wire are very short....
5) turn the airbag upside down;there is a green and blue connector. First pull out the center cap, then pull the whole connector out.

6) now you can see the clockspring (you have to lock or mark the clockspring in the right position; mine not important to do so, I've destroyed it)
7) to remove the clockspring you have only to unscrew three little screw.

I HAVE SOME PROBLEM trying to identify any serial number for the clock spring; on eper, I didn't find it on the steering section nor in the airbag section....
