Hello, my cinq had had the wiring for the stereo cut. I literally have just wires in the dash, if I was to buy two male connectors from Halfords would the colour match up to join? To enable me to put in a sony or something like that?

No you will have to find out what wires are the 12v supply, earth and the 4 wires for the speakers.

Speakers are easy just pop the speakers out of the dash and make a note of the colour of the wires going to each speaker. You will need a multimeter or test light to find the 12v supply and earth. Not very hard to sort out.
