Hello,

Basically i have sei sporting with the 1.1 MPI, owned it since sept, ever since ive owned it the coolant piping just doesnt seem right!
The rear pipe that connects the return on the expansion bottle - coolant temp & heater matrix seems to have been botched with a bit of a pvc splitter and garden hose.... obviously ive changed the garden hose and put on some high pressure lines!

After hours of research i cant seem to find the pipe needed (highlighted in yellow in the pic). It seems that is isnt made anymore... now am i correct in thinking that this bottle was replace with another bottle with the return facing away from the battery & alternator?
Everything i find a picture of the pipe routing using that bottle it seems to pass through the throttle body which it doesnt do on my engine! (2nd picture)

Anyone have any insight into this?

The MPI cars use a different expansion tank -- it'll always have a clear top (a few aftermarket SPI ones seem to be clear, too).

For the pipe/tube try big Mick at eurocarcare.net (best to ring or Skype), or Unto.pl

They'll still be out there, it's just a matter of tracking one down. Be aware that he Sei uses quick connect fittings to the heater matrix -- don't bugger them up.

There may be more up to date illustrations in the Seicento Technical Manual -- in the Downloads.
