Hi all got a knocking sound coming from front left side an also when turning left my steering doesn't feel right at all an also slides out and I've got all new tyres on its a non pas any help :bang:

You need to start with the releasing agent today and keep applying it twice a day until you get the parts.

Run the auto up a high kerb and crawl under if you don't have ramps

I still need a lot of heat and cold cycles and impact driver for any of the suspension bolts or bleed nipples...

You see what is good with owning a cento is, once it came off under your owner ship, the next time you are having to take it off, it will be really easy :).

Meaning the longer you owner, the better it comes!!

Mine is 8 years coming IIRC!

another thing to check if your getting a knocking while cornering is CV boots and Cv joints and driveshafts, while your there check for play in the front wheel bearings..theres loads of vids to how to do this on you tube eg ERIC the car Guy and scotty kimler

the vids just a quick link not in relation to your query as such

Will do I got both wish bones today off eBay for 45 pound but with the weather today I don't think I be able to do the change today

Have your tracking reset when you have the new wishbones on. Mine was miles out after I did mine.

Hi so put new wish bones on an new track rod ends still getting a noise could the shocker be knocked

Have a look at the strut tops. They have a bearing in them and are known to wear. You can see them under the bonnet, check for play whilst having someone turn the steering. Not a huge job but involves removing the struts and coils so you will need spring compressors. They are about £35 to £40 each and it is likely that if one has gone the other isn't far behind.

I think there is a guide to replacing them in the guides section.

Ian.

rear swing arm metal elastics... you need to remove arm to believe how bad they get and still pass MoT.
