Hello Everybody

Maybe it's just me but I can't find an answer to my question in the forum, so here's a new thread.

I have found a set of 14" alloys which I want to fit to my '97 Cinquecento Sporting. The new alloys' measurements are 6" width, 14" heigth and ET is 38. Will these fit on the car with a 175/55-14 tyre without touching the arches on full lock?

As most other carmodifications it is not legal to fit spacers in Denmark, so it will have to do without.

I hope someone can help me or knows where I can find an answer

Good day to all

Are these guys crazy or just barking mad? Porsche and Alfa fit spacers as stock! :bang:

But the answer is no. The higher the ET number the nearer the wheel sits to the centreline of the car. I know for a fact that 35 ET won't fit without spacers -- stock ET is 30 or so,

Also, I'd suspect that 175 is too narrow for 6J rims -- 185 or 195 would be more appropriate.

Sorry. Emigration to Sweden (or at least, registration in Sweden) recommended.

Due to 180 % tax on new cars in Denmark, most constructional changes to the cars is considered as building your own car. Therefor you will have to pay the tax again if you get pulled over by the police, and they notice the modification. Also the same thing will happen if I, as a danish citizen, drive around in a car on foreign plates - even if it's a borrowed car I drive for five minutes. Crazy AND barking mad! And it makes Sweden even more tempting than it is.

Anyway. Thank you very much for the answer. I will keep on looking for alloys which I know will fit the car.

Jonas
