Hiya,

I have a bit of a problem with my seicento sporting. My clutch snapped this week so i needed a tow from the AA to the garage. Unfortunately the took hook is now stuck as the garage were scared they were going to break something.

2 questions then:
Is it illegal to drive with your tow hook still screwed in?
If not any ideas how to get it out?

big pole through the hole and turn to unscrew, big pole helps with making it move

yeh just put something through the eye to screw it out. my guess is the thread inside the car is rusted and that the AA man never screwed it fully in (because the rust) and when the car was toed it pulled the thread a bit.

its not illegal to drive with the tow eye in so no worry
