I want to glue a second hand "sporting" and "abarth" badge onto my car, although I don't know what glue(?) to use....

any advise?, obviously I dont want to make a pigs ear of it and end up with either the badge falling off and leaving a mark, or marks around the badge after I have glued it on....

has anyone else done this and used a certain product succesfully and can advise me? - or has anyone had a bad experience and can warn me off a certain product?!!

thanks.

Liams badge tape recommendation is the way to go - I have used it for lots of stuff and it withstands powerwashing and scumbags who try to nick your badges. You need to be handy with a scalpel blade to trim the excess away but it really is the mutts.

A trip to Halfords it is then!! - although after todays trip I cant help but think what rip off merchants they are! (see - "touch up paint" thread)

I found some double sided bath edge strip stuff in cupbaord under the stairs, the monsters never used it,and i stuck all my badges on with it about 5months ago and they are stiil there, intact, and looking fab!!!,so in total it cost me nothing, although i still awake in the middle of the night with cold cold sweats remembering the time i was in the 'cupboard under the stairs'

"The Cupboard under the stairs"

isnt that the name of some crappy wes craven horror film??

i suppose it would be, but you would need the thick stuff, the thin stuff again didnt work well on my curves,i used IMPACT in the end and masked them on until it was set
