Hello, does any one out there have any experience with the poly bushes for the sei??? Any good or too much??? Cheers

In another word, just buy them :p

Really depends on what tweaks your nipples. The harder you drive, the more uprated the tyres and suspension are, the more you'll need/like them. If you just want a car for everyday use and are not a re-incarnation of Ayrton Senna you may not even notice the difference.

Cheers for your feedback, I use the car everyday for work, the drive is like a rally stage...an hour an a quarter of narrow country lanes. I got a set of billies coming and 40 mm lowering springs. The car is on the p6000 it had originally on abarth rims. Dunno. I tell you what tho, I'm having trouble tracking down some anti roll bar bushes. Anyone know where I can get???

lol.. theirs a little flag.. bottom right just click on it (union jack) and change the currency to GBP

I should of said in my last post ..

No worries;) Just got my Bilsteins thru the post. I checked em out on eurocarparts, it seems that they have sent rears that are for the cinq. These are about 8 quid more expensive that the ones for the sei. This dont matter, but I was under the impression the the 2 cars were pretty much identical underneath. So what possibly could be the difference between the two shocks. I'm confused dot com. I'm gonna ring up tomorrow and have a quiz. Billies tho. I'm excited

Well I spent all day yesterday fitting new suspension and bushes. What a transformation. Unbelievable feel over what it had (which to be fair was knackered.) Will be posting a few pics of surgery during the week. I opted for the strong flex bushes all round paid 111 quid delivered. kit included anti roll bar bushes..good times.

I've been looking at the strong flex ones on ebay, what do you think of the quality of them? were they straight forward/a good fit? Did you need a press to fit the rears?

Cheers

You do not need a press to do the rears, you need to burn the rears out and a vice with drift helps to push them out, but putting new ones in couldn't be any easier, they are in three pieces, steel central tube, and two sections of poly bush which slide in from both sides, all becomes apparent when you see them.

Aaron.

The strong flex are different in that they have steel tube and one piece bush. I just knocked the bush in with a rubber mallet then fitted the steel inner piece of p**s. burning the rears out is the only way forward. Once the rubber was gone, It was a bit of a struggle knocking the steel sleeve out of the arm. Good quality tho mate and cheap comnpared to powerflex. I like em.

cheers Dav

To be honest I'm not sure. A friend of mine was a powerflex agent, and he saw the strongflex and thought they felt harder material than powerflex. on the strong flex site they give some kind of figure for the hardness of the material. Not sure if you'd be able to get the same sort of info out of powerflex themselves and make a comparison that way. They feel good for what they are to me, But I have no direct comparison with powerflex. To be honest, polyurethane is polyurethane surely?? I'm sure there is someone out there who can say otherwise. The main reason I went stronflex was that they offered arb bushes as well and a kit for the car came out the same as suspension bushes only from powerflex price wise. Hope this helps.

Yeah,, strong flex offered red bushes ( they say similar to oe spec rubber) and the yellow sport variety. I considered the red then thought nah.!!!(y)
