Technical engine cutting out when up to temp on cinq
Check the temp sensor in the manifold. See what reading you are getting when it cuts out.
It could be a dodgy earth, that the fan uses, causing the engine to stall, but thats a long shot.
The crank sensor could also be failing. Do you get a spark when cranking?

The only thing which I could see happening, with a long delay, was lack of petrol for 20 minutes, you got any mechanisms for that?
One of the litle petrol valves loosing its cool for 20 mins.
Mayhap forgotten tablets again?

The message was for SPD, but your advixe about a new tank is interesting. We are fighting over your little car already.
If the engine dies for 20 minutes then there is something that takes 20 mins to cool down. I'm stuck for the moment.

So its fuel related, and you've just changed the tank.
That is kind of important info.
Next time it stops, take the petrol cap off, then try and restart.

OK, check the routeing of your breather pipe.

is that the pipe that runs across the top of the tank and connects to the pip coming out of the centre of the tank.

hi again ive sorted out the tank problem electrical connector on pump had come of .
the connector wasnt up to much.
so i put a new 1 on.
got the car running putt new centre part of the exhaust system on also new ht leads and plugs.
it starts from cold no problems and runs like a dream.
butt when i try to restart it when its warm it just wont have it. wont even fire.
butt let it cool down and it starts no probs.
have you any further ideas please.
