Yep Ive get the mot booked for tuesday Ive only had the car about a month and have had to do a lot to it which I could see would fail the mot on like no rear left break, reverse and side light, front shocks, tracking and two engine mounting rubbers. How do some people drive a car when it gets that bad surely it would have been a more enjoyable little car to drive if everythings set up right and a lot safer to.

Fingers crossed for Tuesday as I really love driving this great little car.!!!

Nice one!

I think some people just drive a car and don't even open the bonnet. If something clonks or squeaks they just keep on going. If it doesn't actually stop the thing moving, a lot of people don't bother to fix it.

When I first got the car it sounded like a chainsaw and pulled like hell to one side so i wonder if the person was deaf and had no feeling in thier hands or just couldnt give a c____!!!
After my accident with my renault v5 Which was a total right off I bought my cinq which I think is far superior and wish I had bought it years ago.

Pete,

I know some women who think their oil gets changed at MOT time! LOL

Well, it is kinda understandable in some ways. If they don't know much about cars (ie. women) and they take it to a garage they could be ripped off. I've had funny noises and have paid for a diagnosis, but they said there was nothing wrong with it, still cost me £62 though. I think the problem may be related to the exhaust though. There's a slightly sporty sound comming out of it :-D, but when idling there's also a spitting/misfire noise. It's quite good though because if I floor it I can get a good sporty sound, but it's not too noisey, it makes it sound really powerfull lol (899cc).
