how do i make a sig do i put pictures together in a photo program basically making it a custom picture and then just host it as my signature

please correct me if im wrong

also how do i get it a normal size as every picture i post fills the screen and some more.

I just use photoimpression and that resizes it and stuff

i dont know how other people do their sigs... but mine was made as one image, hosted and then someone gave me the link to use
