last night i noticed a slight smell of petrol in the car, and had a look under it today and it looks like the seam of the fuel tank is leaking slightly on the passenger side of the car on the front corner of the tank, its not actually dripping though. Ive read the posts on here about the recall but its a 2002 52 plate, it does sound like the same problem though. Has anyone else managed to get the tank changed for free by fiat on a car this age, or is it a waste of time asking?

ive done a search, like i said ive read the posts about it, but im asking if anyone has managed to get the work done free on a newer model
