Just a little note to tell a story.

Pulled up at traffic lights, left hand lane, nova (big exhaust, home made tints, alloys, the works) in teh right hand lane.

I said to my girlie sat next to me "Shall I rev the engine and see if he responds...?" he did.

Lights turn green, he wheel spins away and makes a horirble exhaust note, and I pull away as usual.

Carrying on down the road about 30 sec later, copcar flies past me and pulls the Nova over. Waved as i drove past of course....

And the moral of the story is, always check in your mirrors for copcars before attempting a Traffic Light Showdown.

But there's no law against pulling away hard from traffic lights is there? As the guy wasn't involved in a race (you didn't attempt to keep up etc.) then I can't see they could have done much about it??

I imagine he hit over 30 when he went past, and it is illegal to pull away without keeping the vehicle under control, which means if there is any wheel spin the police can do u for it

i used to drive a nova - take peeps as ya find them, lots of my friends have had novas or drive novas and they are sound, dont take peeps off how they look!
