Hi All,

Just wondering what the best thing is to use to remove residue from tape on metal paintwork?

I've read wd-40 is good but don't have any, though I do have t-cut. Will T-cut work?

I'd go for WD40 or GT85 myself, will dissolve the glue without affecting paintwork. It's also useful for getting tar spots of the side of the car and removing glue residue from headlights when you've been abroad and used self adhesive headlight adaptor thingies. Everyone should have some in the garage!

Furniture polish used to do a good job at removing sticky residue off labels & tape.
