Hi all.

Iv got a a 2008 1.4 petrol bravo engine code 192B2000.

I put a replacement engine in and now it has no spark.

It has all the same electrics, all I did was swap the block basically.

When I put the key in the ignition the immobilizre icon goes off.

I put it on a diagnostic "Delphi 2015 r3" and a cheap hand held odb2 unit they did not bring any codes up.

I unplugged the crank sensor and cam sensor run the diagnostics again still didn't bring up any codes up.

There is no damage or any twist or kinks on the wiring loom.

I have downloaded the e learn not any help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance moss

Hi craig830

The cheap hand held odb2 it did bring the crank sensor fault about 6 months ago.

Will fiatecuscan test the ecu?

Use the diagnostics you have at hand.
Check if you can read engine speed while cranking.

I'm suspecting the crank sensor was/is damaged.
You won't get spark or injector pulse/fuel if the crank sensor isn't reading. (some engines will start if you unplug the cam sensors...my t-jet works with it unplugged... but throws a code).

is the sensor in it's location?
is the phonic wheel installed?
what's the distance between the sensor and the teeth on the wheel?

Hi aurick86,

I will see if I can get the engine speed when cracking tomorrow.

I'm getting no code with the crank and cam sensor unplugged.

The crank sensor is located in front of the bottom pulley. I'll get the measurements tomorrow. I don't know what the phonic wheel is.

What puzzling me is that no codes are coming up with the cam and crank sensors unplugged.

don't be put of by that.. i have a feeling (it's been a while)... the codes don't come straight up...for some reason... it takes a while.

Hi aurick86, the gap between the crank sensor and wheel is 1mm.

1mm should still be fine.
don't you still have the old sensor? try that as well.

Have you tried reading the rpm?????
