Hi guys!

I have a problem with my 1.9JTD Bravo:

Error code 1206, you must clean or replace the DPF.

The car was slow, and i couldn't reached the 3500rpm.
DPF clogging: 96%

The error is OK, i understood. BUT! After a regeneration the clogging was below 80%. I used the car on 4500-5000rpm, for 30km and the clogging was below 27%. After a second regenartion, the dpf was clogged, more than 80%. How it is possible? Iam driving 100km/h in 5th gear. Or i use the car badly? I should use in 2000-2500rpm? Or a sensor is not working? Thanks!

Sorry guys, i am from Hungary, and the car built wit dpf. I didnt know that in the UK the Bravo dont have DPF

Ahhh ok, the only Bravo with a DPF over here are the 2.0 and the newer 1.6 variant of that engine.

Before you think about possibly removing the DPF check your laws. Over here in the UK if a car was built with a DPF it must have it fitted.

I think you didnt understand me. I dont want to remove it, i want to know ho could it be after 30km driving the dpf clogging change from 20% to 80%. So i dont know whats wrong? Maybe the differential pressure sensor? Or something else?

Is this a definite? I was worried about mine I have a 150 multijet so I wouldn't have a dpf?

The question is, after a long run with 4000-4500rpm (20km) the clogging was 21% below. after 30km the clogging is 76% (4th gear 2500rpm). I dont understand what parameter says the clogging percent. The differential sensor? Maybe it is wrong?

The main problem was the filter. At the end was the filter full clogged, and i saw 1 crack.
