Thanks to everyone that gave advice to our other post about which bravo to buy, we went for the 1.9 dynamique. Although 1 and a half hours after buying it the plastic clip came away from the ball joint and the clutch pedal went to the floor, managed to get it to the side of the road only 100 yards or so but there was an awful smell of clutch burning. We know we need a new mastercylinder as you cant get the clip but can anyone advise on the smell as we are a bit concerned.

It's a dynamic, it's not a French Renault

Smell is probably due to clutch slipping, might have been due to the failed master cylinder.
