The wife has just bought a 58 plate 1.4 Bravo, nice car only 35k on it. This is my first post so hello to everyone.

It has a stuck/broken flap on the passenger side air ducting because it is always hot no matter what the setting. The drivers side is however fine and gets hot and cold depending on the setting.

Now for a very quick question. After I have removed the radio and the surround I can see the gears moving but to get to it I appear to have to take the dashboard out of the car. Tell me it isn't so!!! :bang:

Cheers all

Probably yes.

I had this problem, but my is LH. First time they changed only lever assy. It costs only 10€. But after another 2 years I have same/similar problem (I'm waiting for repairing). LH drivers side blow hot air, and vent on windscreen stuck (it is not possible to swith off windscreen blowing).

I've decided to change four actuator of five, and I'm waiting for the parts.

But this time I will get 3 year warranty. By the, I wrote my complaint to Fiat customer care and I'm waiting the answer.

First time, it cost me obout 170€ (part 10€ + 160€ for work)

Now it will cost me 325€ (150€ for work + 175€ for parts 4 actuators and lever assy).

I have decided to change the actuators because Fiat changed the part numbers of the actuators, but they didn't change the climate control software. So, the problem could be with old actuators specification.

I'm talking about Automatic air con.
