Anybody had much luck getting a power cable into the car spent most of the day looking for a way gave up. Running from the fuse box I think would be unsafe as will be running at least 800rms.

I gave up and ran mine directly from the internal fuse box, but then my power requirements are only small.

Just found out will cost me £40 to have it drilled so going with that.

you can use the inside of the front wing.

open the bonnet and check inside the wing you'll see what I mean.

I wouldn't. Something in new MOT regs iirc which will cause this to result in the car being unMOTable iirc - although I could be wrong. I suppose it also depends if it's visible / detectable though.
