Hi Folks

Have done a search as I remember this coming up a while ago but can't for the life of me find the thread. Does anyone have detailed instructions to check if the washer jet piping has come away.

Both fronts and rear washer jets are away similar to last year during the cold snap.

Cheers

Jon

i just come on here to post a thread on this, my rear recently blew off.

the way i checked was to get my other half to operate it whilst the bonnet was up. i got a faceful of screenwash as the pipe had disconnected at the side of the battery (pissing screenwash on electrics...nice!)

basically running it and seeing where water is running from when it shouldnt be is a good tracing technique!

my question is, mine had separated where the rubber pipe meets the ribbed black plastic piping, which i refitted the rubber seal into the plastic pipe, then refitted to the join, but it dribbles a bit.

is there a jubilee clip small enough to fit this pipe to nip it up a bit?

a small cable tie?

Mines exactly the same battery covered in water...great design fiat...keeps separating on the join...not to sure what would attach to it it's pretty small
