hi guys wonder if you could help me

i have a 1996 fiat bravo 1.8 hlx p reg while whle the engines cold it doesnt seem to pull like it should and same when im pulling off i have to use alot of revs to get a steady take off. while im driving its almost like im losing power somewhere but i dont no how got a brand new battery and from what i no a newish alternator. earlier 2day i went to pull of set revs let my clutch and nothing the engine just cut right out and wouldnt start for a second.

has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this

it could be many things, you havent really given enough info to suggest anything in particular.

first thing to try is new plugs. check each old plug, and compare them, to see if any cylinder appears to be suffering from fueling or ignition problems.

what rpm does the engine idle at on a cold start? and what rpm does the engine idle at when warm?
