Well, first impression was
However, have just come in from having a proper look and there are several areas that need improving. Will be calling them back in the morning but I think she'll have to go as-is for the weekend as I have no time to take it back.
Overall, the look is fantastic and exactly what I was after but unfortunately the finish does not match the styling.
Ho hum, we'll see what they say tomorrow.

attention to detail is something that takes time and costs money, so its a rare thing to get at any bodyshop

Had a good look round her this morning and it's clear there are some issues to address. If I stand back a bit I have completely fallen in love with her again (she looks stunning!! ) but get up close and it's just a bit disappointing.

Well just phoned the bodyshop and he was very apologetic and is gonna take her back to sort all my probs. Will be a couple of weeks before I can get her in so she'll have to do as-is for Brooklands.

yep, you cant expect every job to be a winner first time, but as long as they're happy to sort it out there's nothing to complain about. you just need to be patient.

Nice that marea handles smoothed de locked and sprayed black? I cant decide wither to do mine black or yellow. Have photo shopped it and still cant decide.
Like the white wheels too, and the grille, glad you didnt go bad boy not that you would!

TY Fella. For those not reading BOO here's what I just posted there: -
"Subtlety is always the key for me and that's what I think I have achieved (says the man with white alloys - LOL!).
The handles are indeed rear Mareas. I have ground off the ridge that the marea handles have, filled and smoothed then painted in Satin Black.
The engine cover, alternator cover and fuse box cover in the engine bay have also been painted Satin Black with my own fair hand.
I also spent many hours, days etc. cutting out most of the elements in the front bumper and cut in black mesh to fit. As the grille was then a different mesh I decided to repaint the rear plastics and remesh with the same mesh as the bumper and paint the badge Satin Black for that de-badged look.
The wheels are BMW Mini white with new black valve caps and black wheel nut covers for a clean finish. She has also been debaged but I'm toying with some ideas to replace them."
