why do fiat exhausts bend down at the end? is there a reason for this? i have been thinking of changing the tail pipe..maybe a double exhaust like jug..that looks pretty good..should i leave it as it is?or change it? should i get one that has a little burble?I dont want a 6 inch pipe hanging out the back of my car that sounds like the world is about to end its so loud!!!any ideas?what type or where to look?

primarily, cosmetics I believe. Take a look the average cars exhaust, put it bluntly, they look s**t. The way fiat do it you have no unsightly rusty mild steel exhaust end to look at without resorting to more expensive chrome tipped stainless.
