friend has a 1997 bravo 1.4 sx. problem is the injection light stays on and the engine is very jerky. fiat dealer was no help. are there any inherent problems with the fuel injection?

I had the same problem with my 1.4sx bravo. If it jerks when you are slowing down and going into 1st it could be your clutch on its way out. With the injection light, does it come all the time or does it come on and go away? Could be that your injectors need cleaning out. Redex could be a help. No promises though!
