1st post,so go easy!
After stuffing up my seicento,i'm now after something a bit bigger as a new job means doing a fair bit of travelling.Need a car a.s.a.p and have come across a 1.8 HLX for sale.It's 1998, S-reg with 40,000 on the clock.

After advice on what to look for with the viewing,and any other bits i should know!

I was reading on a bravo site (not sure if it was boo?)But any,it had the spec of the car.Says sports interior,any have any pics or can describe it,and also says heated seats,or was this on later phase models?

i am the proud owner of a 1997 hlx. The interior is nice and solid with 'sporty seats' and chunky looking interior. The seats are also heated. I used to own 2000 model 80 sx and would say that the model im now driving is in front by miles.

Its not a bad motor, the engine is a peach with the home made induction kit . Not much power gain but the induction noise is nice.
Custom made exhuast was only a couple of hundred quid.
Just need a decent deal on the suspension now and i will be as happy as a pig in the sunderland penalty area.
