Slow near side window going up and down

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to remedy the passenger window is very slow in going up and down. Its a 2001 1.2SX Bravo if that helps!

Any suggestions gratefully received

Door card job off. Investigate for lubrication or faults to be remedied.

same problem, remove all the internal parts from the door, got a replacement motor, lubed it all up and still the same problem, I just live with it at this point.

That's interesting I also have cleaned all the electrical contacts and lubricated the mechanical parts yet my passenger window is slow. Next time I have the door card off I will try an investigate more. I do plan on adding some soundproofing in the doors sometime soon.

Have you guys tried it without the door card on? I seemed to remember the top part of black trim on the door card was adding resistance to the glass.

I've just ran PTFE spraylube to the parts where glass slides and its good for another year or two.

Maybe measure voltage at the motor when its running to see if you have bad connections somewhere?

That's what I do as well with slow windows,cures it in most cases.
I use either silicon, or PTFE spray indeed.
