In light of my exhaust cracking for the third time in nine months (engine mounts and suspension OK, Fiat bloke went to have a look and no idea what's causing it), I'm giving up on any other plans and will be upgrading the full system ASAP. I'm looking for the whole lot from the manifold onwards, with a catback. Has anyone had one of these fitted, where did you get it from and how much did it cost? Cheers :)

Do you mean everything from the manifold back? Or from the cat back? You'll have 3 parts to your exhaust: the manifold, the cat, the rest (mid section, silencer and tailpipe) AKA cat back.
Cost depends upon how much you want to change. The rest (cat back) is about £300 for the supersprint, though you could probably get a cheaper one. Replacing the cat (with a pipe) is about £100. Replacing the cat means that you may not pass MOT emissions tests without putting the cat back on first. Replacing the manifold is about £350. So to replace the lot would be about £750. I would guess that labour to fit the cat back and decat would be about £50, or to fit the whole lot would be about £100.
Make sure you get a stainless system though...

(All prices totally estimated... :D )

Try these guys www.blueflameperformance.co.uk

They did mine for £180 and is definately custiom built. They had my car in the factory for a couple of days to make the tubing fit my car exactly rather than adding a few joints and bends to universal ones.

They also make the exhausts for tvr :D

Cheers Wimmy, someone on the local forum has mentioned them to me so I reckon it's worth looking into. Just so I know pricewise - how much of your exhaust did you get replaced for your £180? I've also sent an email to Angeltuning to see what they say about the Supersprint ones

They definately do do cat-back systems I've got one on mine. Helz they are expensive but IMO it's well worth it. Mind you Blue flame are good as well, I don't know about their car exhausts but their bike exhausts are really well made. (y)

Been speaking to man at garage again today and he reckons it's definitely going to need the whole lot. The front pipe has been on and off so many times now the threads in the manifold are kaput, the frontpipe is kaput and the car's coming up to five years and could do with a cat replacement (especially after all the exhaust problems and misfire allowing unburned fuel through). So we'll see what everyone says :).

Thanks again guys!

But wouldn't you rather have a shiny new one while you're at it?
Manifolds are rarely worth repacing Helz and I would suggest to you that if you do have it replaced that manifold will be on another Bravo before long. As they are expensive it is still worth refurbishing.
