hi guys hope someone can help, i have my MOT monday and the front brakes were in desparate need of doin as i have done this before i changed to tarox grooved discs and some new pads, all went well till i got in car pedal was solid at standstill but as soon as started driving the pedal went spongy and travelled straight to the floor with very minimal braking, everything was ok the night before on way home from work, have been told could be master cylinder, seized caliper piston, caliper not floating or moving properly has anyone got any ideas

PLEAE HELP LOL

tony

well since the pedal got spongy that would mean there is air in the system,
if it just wen soft then it would be the slave cylinder .
it the calipers were seized they would probably get stuck while pressing on the disk.

i still think that a proper bleeding or even changing the brake fluid would fix it.
