Right, ive just bought a 2001 Bravo 51 plate. I also have my R reg Bravo which was in a crash. My R reg has 3 speeds for the window wipers, slow, medium and fast. My 51 plate Bravo has 2 speeds, medium... then medium AGAIN, then fast... Also when you switch off the wipers, they will just stop where they are no matter where they are on my windscreen. But my R reg finishes the wipe and settles where they should be no matter when i turn the wipers off.

As you can tell that 1. the speed of the wipers is enoying when you want them to just go on slow speed when its just spitting.
And 2. its ever so distracting when the wipers stop infront of my face as soon as i turn off the wipers and dont settle down at the botton like my R reg Bravo does.

What i would like to know is whats going on here? Is it the motor? Or is it the stalk behind my steering wheel?

Because as im selling my R reg Bravo for scrap anyway, i was thinking of swapping the motors around. (as in the window wiper motors).

But i would also need help doing this off you guys, removing and then replacing the window wiper motor IF it is the motor..

Theres a relay on the front wiper motor, try changing that. If that fails it'll be the stalks.

How would i get to the front wiper motor relay? Thanks.

Remove the wiper arms and then the scuttle panel underneath.

Is there a relay for the rear wiper?
Mine doesn't want to park correctly.

I cant see where it shows or mentions a relay.????

i thought that myself lol

i didnt think there was a relay for the rear wiper..Mine used to play up aswel.Itd work when it wants

Took me some time to get time to do it, but ive done it successfully with no problems at all .
I still have my old smashed up Bravo (R.I.P) and the wiper motor works perfect on that, so with a little help from by Bravo/Brava workshop manual CD which tells me everything from replacing the clutch to every part of the electrical side,replacing the window wiper motors, body work, engine... EVERYTHING basically .

Such an easy job to do, just swapped round the motors and it all works fine, now i can get back to looking at selling my dead Bravo so someone who wants to sell it as parts... Like an organ donor...

where abouts exactly? i never knew there was
when my car is back on the road,im gona get a new relay and try that first.

All i saw was the motor and a round white plastic casing, then the part with the plastic casing where the plug plugs into. I didnt see any relay, although to be honest i really dont know what it looks like. Whatever it looks like, there is nothing on the motor you can fiddle about with that looks like it would solve anything.

Im guessing you can see only the same?

Sorry, my bad, im on about the front wipers here... As for the rear motor, id just buy a second hand one. Its easy enough to replace.
