I have wet carpet on the passenger side after running my Air Con (I have a 1997 1.8 ELX Brava) and it looks as though the drain may be blocked as I dont get any water underneath the car after running the aircon while stationery.
Any idea of where I need to look for the drain tube??

I don't get a wet patch on mine but always a dusty moldy smell when I use the A/C... I checked the follen filter, it was pretty dirty but I can't imagine that would cause the problem because when the A/C is off there is no smell...

very similar to my car during the summer, I think the sun must have dried out the carpet on short runs. After a long trip down to devon the carpet was soaking but dried out over the next day or so. Now that the weather is cooler the carpet is staying damp after use.

Can't help with the drain pipe sorry, but if your getting a smell from the air feed, thats most likely to be because the ac unit needs to be sterolised, and de-ironised, that should get rid of the smell, you should do this every year really.

As for the drain tube issue, perhaps ask a dealer, personally, I wouldn't toutch the AC, perhaps contact an Auto AC repair centre, you're probably best off with that in the long run.
