I got up this morning to find my little Bravo's main headlights and front wipers wouldn't work, now ive checked the fuses and relays and all is fine. Someone has mentioned that it could be the switch and/or stalk

Im so confused and upset. I cant go out in the dark or if its raining like it has done all day Just wondered if anyone has had this happen or knows about it.

The stalks are a distinct weak point on these cars and there's a good chance that the contacts inside are dodgy.. Try the Advanced Search and you'll turn up many tales of woe on this matter.
There's a good guide to removing the unit in the Haynes manual, but you will need to disconnect the airbag so heed the warnings if you or a friend tackle the job.
Scrap yard prices are reported to be £20 odd. I paid £35 for one via the internet that was in worse condition than the original so sent it back. They never refunded me so I've just reminded myself to pursue it further.
On the other hand it could be a loose wiring connector on the back of the unit - which is what mine turned out to be in the end.
