Have you even tried?. Surprisingly cheap about an extra £50-£100 a yr for me over my 1.4 mk2b Punto Sporting

I was almost going to buy that one, was gonna do it up as my new car. Instead im waiting for something better and HGT'ish. I was worried on that 1.8 they would have driven it to much on a naff radiator and done some damage.

well ill start it up when i get there aslong as it don't knock ill take it

if it's a head gasket i can fix it easy as so i'm not to worried

obviously can tell from the oil and various plastics around the engine how hot it's been

even so if it is a rite off 175 quid for hlx intereor spoiler alloys and stuff for my next one is cheap

heraldic blue is sexy :slayer:

no way, you need bodged on bits like that to make it look different to a plain old SX.
HaHa Jug I knew you would say "you need bits like that to make it look different to an SX".

But like you say they are bodged on and ugly in my opinion. If I ever upgrade my car those nozzles are going.

i rather like the nozels on the bumper actually might aim them at pedestrians

also got a few questions for you all

do the 1.8 have rear disks or drums as i fancy the red painted callipers all round on a blue car look then some red abarth centre caps aswell

and do the rear badges have holes under em i was under the impression they dont

oh well i spose it's actually a viable modification were as rear disks on a 1.2 would be epicly pointless and never get used properly ill think about that one

but for now i'm thinking painted door handles and poly lights for a start

oh and i seem some lockwood white dials anyone know what there like any good and how do they iluminate

Rear Discs are pointless on a 1.8 too. No distinctive advantage during braking at all. Just eye candy.

Lockwood dials are only made for the MK1 only and the numbers illuminate green. The needles remain red. You need to stick a circular sticky tape under one or two of the needles to prevent light shining out from under the needles. (Reason being the dials slide over the needles so have a wider diameter cut out. No need to remove old ones either you just cut the old ones off).

so this being a 1997 they should fit nicely
