Does anyone had this problem before or have an idea how to solve it. The battery in my 2001 brava continuously dies. If I don’t disconnect the negative overnight it will go flat by the morning. Everything seems to be working, alternator charging, alarm system not taking anything when its on, sometimes it will go for 2 days if I don’t disconnect then battery dies again. Please help.

constant drain. measure the drain by conecting a multimeter between bettery negative lead and bettery negative terminal, the amp readin you get is the amount of drain. now pul fuses out one at a time, the one that greatly reduces the drain tells you which circuit is causing the drain. then you know where to look for a short or wiring fault.
may sound silly but have u checked the water level in battery?
thank you all, yes I tried the way Jug avised me, it is the fuse box B first row number 1/A fuse. when pulling it out the probe light dims and the alarm siren comes on w/light siren noise.brava 1.2 16v.2001
Where do I find the boot light?
In the boot
Sit in the car with the key out of the ignition and all doors closed, and then fold down the backs seats to see if the boot light is on, if it is then you have a faulty boot light switch!
that fuse narrows it down to alarm or air con, so its most likely to be a fault in one of the air con components.
i would disconnect everything that this fuse uses, do each part seperately, then you can narrow it down to the part that is faulty.
