Dont mean to burst your bubble, but i think you paid a little to much for that car, 1.) because its the 1.4 and 2.) because it looks a little rough around the edges but as long as you are happy thats all that matters mate (y)

too right, i wasnt going to say, but now you have, i will say £650 is a ****ing lot of money for a 1.4 bravo, the 1.8hlx can be picked up for that in ex condition.

Its tidier than my last car, which is the blue punto (1.1litre 55s) you can see parked next to it in the last picture.

Also with the price, considering a kenwood CD player alone is about £200 and the alloys are £200+ (i dont know exact prices), plus the exceptionally low mileage for its age.. yeah im happy with it :D

As for the 1.4 engine size, its the biggest engine ive ever driven plus im trying to calm my driving down now.. im 22 with a longterm girlfriend an tryin to put my boy racer days behind me (a mate of mine recently rolled a vauxhall astra and was lucky to survive too, which frightened me).. so i dont want a bigger engine until i break out of alot of old habits, if i make sense :)

You would have been better off getting the 1.2 its a better engine, gives more power and returns better mpg in all honesty if all the alloys are as badly kerbed as the one in the picture then there is no way they are worth £200 and in my personal opinion i have found that my factory fitted radio and cd changer plays better with the amp tan the kenwood i had hence why i put the factory unit back in but hey as before as long as you are happy. Just one bit of advice keep it well serviced and change the oil regularly in order to avoid one of the most common faults on the 1.4 which is oil starvation and you will be fine.

oh leave the 1.4 alone

He's happy with his car and since i've had mine i haven't had anything major go wrong so they're not all bad!!

congrats, i bet you're over the moon.

white is rare and i think the bravo suits it very well.

get yourself some marea polyelliptical headlights, and see if you can find a bravo HLX or HGT in a scrapyard so you can upgrade the interior. there are loads of cheap and easy upgrades so you can have your S up to HLX spec easily enough.

if you keep the engine well serviced and use good oil then you should be able to avoid the usual problems, especially at this mileage, but i would still recommend cleaning out the oil bar that sits on top of the cam. its an easy enough job that should be done at every service.

the 2 dents in the bonnet will push out easily by hand.
