Technical obd 16 pin socket

can any one tell me if a 1.6 brava elx 100 on a v plate has a 16 pin obd if so ware i have seen two 3 pin sockets under bonnet on pass side could not get comms im using a auto diagnose tester only use it for keys mainly as im a locksmith but can borrow machine from work. done injectors on car with breakers complete manifold and fule rail sound like manifold poss leaking holding back somtimes

All cars made of 2000 and after are equiped with universal 16pin OBD connector.Before that its been several types ex. VW had a 2x2 pin, fiat,alfa romeo,lancia 3pin BMW 20pin etc etc.
