Engine: 100 16v Wreg

After having a read and a search it would appear the injector could be a little fubarred.

But most topics seem to suggest it is when the light stays on, mine is coming on for a few secs going off, back a while longer, then off and so on.

It isnt running brilliant and has lost power when the light is on.

Would sticking some injector cleaner in and some "good" fuel be a better starting place than getting them straight changed?

injector failure usually starts with the light only coming on occasionally.

why wonder when a quick test with a multimeter will tell you whats going on. disconnect the injector wiring harness at the right hand side of the fuel rail, use the centre pin as earth and the other 4 pins are each for an injector. measure resistiace of all 4 injectors. you exepct to soo 14-15 ohms on all, if any are less than 13ohms replace them with scrapyard injectors (£5-10).
