Hi new to here and picking up my GP tomo

I hadn't thought about having problems with connecting my phone as it asn up todate smart phone (lumia 800) and and 08 plate car

However im now reading this and wondering if im not going to be able to use my phone to make calls etc does anyone know if this will work or not?

Also if it does work can I also use it to use my maps from my phone instead of bying sat nav?

You should be fine.. turns out one of the few things Windows Phone does right is bluetooth (probably helped by Nokia's phone heritage there)

You wont be able to play music from it, but phone calls etc should work fine. You are likely to even get SMS messages read out to you as well with that phone.

You can use your phone for sat nav but you wont get the voice sent via bluetooth most likely.. theres an app for android that can do it, but the quality isnt great, only works on a handful of phones and doesnt let the B&M play music when its not talking (so its a bodge more than a solution), there may be something similar for windows mobile.

Ok thanks I will give it a go tomorrow and hope for the best Im looking at getting new phone anyway so it wont be major issue if doesn't just then question is what is best to get!?!?

Hallo, i am new here. Resently bough Fiat Croma with Blue and Me and i am interesting what i can conect to it for music because player do not support MP3.

Ok my phone can find b&m but when asked for pin i put in what i assume it is (from front of b&m book) but jist says press to pair then asks for pin again does that mean it wrong or what am i doing wrong? X

Trying to use a usb stick to listen to music on my GP Sporting 06 plate. Put the usb stick in the USB port and turn ignition to MAr but nothing happens? am I doing something wrong?

I've put songs on the usb stick and used that program to scan it and everything is ok.

Nevermind have sorted it now.

When using the USB function, the track ID shows up on my mini screen but the stereo just displays MEDIA PLAYER ... is this what everyone's does?

Hello, I am new here so apologies if the answer to this is obvious.. I have had my fiat 500 since 2011 with no problems and have had HTC and Nokia 710 paired with blue and me, no problem. I have recently got a Nokia Lumia 800 which paired no problem for about 3 weeks, but suddenly unpaired and now my phone wont find blue and me and blue and me wont pair to phone.. Any ideas/solutions would be gratefully received..

Delete the pairing from the car and the phone and pair again

thanks for the advice, but have tried that, now my phone can't find blue and me and car can't find phone so unable to pair.. And yes, phone has Bluetooth switched on and is discoverable .. Driving me mad!!!

The car doesn't find the phone... So it doesn't matter if it's discoverable or not! It's the phone that finds the car! (This only applies before pairing by the way)

First question though, Is your odometer flashing?

So try this...
Press voice key,
Say:
settings,
Pairing

The code appears on the dash...

Find the car on your phone, connect, enter the code... All Done!

sadly I have already tried that, I just get the response 'pairing failed', no code..
Odometer is fine....

Do other blue and me features work? Like media player...

Mine is still surname first. No matter what I try I get get it the right way around. Dealer tried & failed too.

Phone is iPhone 4S.

I'm trying to get my ipod to work, the iphone works fine but only managed to hook it up twice. Can't see anything in any of the replies here that can help. Can someone point me in the right direction pretty please? I've got a twin air punto 12 plate.

What do I need to buy so that my iPod touch 5th gen will play via blue and me ?

Hey, buying a fiat bravo this weekend. Will be buying the iPhone adapter to play my media from my iPhone 5. My only question is how does the blue and me work when I have my phone plugged in. Can I still receive phone calls though the cars mic and speakers when I'm connected like this?
