Have strayed from Ford after years of Pumas and Fiestas, and ordered a 1.2 Lounge in Cha Cha, with the Interscope Hi-Fi. Very excited, but just hoping it arrives before VAT goes up! It's been a few weeks and estimated delivery date is end of Dec.

Have a question about iPhone compatability with the blue and me kit. I've seen a dongle thing advertised for around £70, which I've been told I need now that there has been a software update. Is this correct? Do I need to buy this in order to play music from my phone? Not bothered about using a wire to plug it in, as I'm currently using a kit that uses the radio and it's pretty naff!

Could anyone using an iPhone in their car let me know how you're getting on? Really appreciated, thank you!

I can confirm that the iPhone works perfectly with the Blue&Me system (I have a 3G S and my partner has a 3G) it just can't read out text messages.

The dongle allows the iPhone to play it's tracks via B&M without having to convert the tracks into MP3 files first.

Basically if it plays on yor iPod/iPhone then it'll play through the dongle.

Yep i'm thinking about getting the dongle too, the only thing stopping me is that Blue&me media player works fine with a usb key, i've got 4 in the car. It would be handy to have the dongle though to charge my iphone and perhaps playback of playlists.
